Started working on my typography portrait of Cas again. 

I forgot how mediative it is to copy, paste, and place one letter repeatedly. It’s calming. :)

What are the chances my teacher won’t notice the placeholder text? Gaah. I’m too tired. I’m just going to finish this when I wake up for class (in two hours shoot me). 

PROGRESS.

You’d think I’d get tired of duplicating little “c” characters to shade but it’s surprisingly relaxing. 

I need to find the document I saved with all the quotes that are being used to shade Cas. I’m a moron with no organizational skills apparently.

Sherlock Holmes

Composed of Didot characters. The “grey” areas are actual quotes from the series with leading and font size altered to get the appropriate color. 

As much as I loved doing this, it was not fun trying to finish it the night before it was due. I wish I could say my lesson was learned. :\

If enough people like it, I may look into offering it as a tshirt design or something. :)
